Threads is the official blog of the UW-Madison Multicultural Student Center. Threads is an extension of our monthly newsletter, Tapestry, which announces, celebrates and discusses issues concerning multiculturalism, social justice education, leadership development and diversity in the university community and beyond. In addition, Threads will have updates on pop culture, media, current news and trends, cultural celebrations, event highlights and more.
The Multicultural Student Center is a unit of the Division of Student Life at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. and is located on the second floor of The Old Red Gym, 716 Langdon St. In keeping with the Center’s historic legacy, the primary mission of the Multicultural Student Center is: To collaboratively strengthen and sustain an inclusive campus where all students, particularly students of color and other historically underserved students, are engaged and can realize an authentic Wisconsin Experience.
