Take Part in Planning a More Inclusive UW-Madison

Last Spring, Forward Together: A Framework for Diversity and Inclusive Excellence was presented as a guide for encouraging a more inclusive campus experience for all UW-Students. This Fall, Chief Diversity Officer Patrick Sims is inviting faculty, staff, and most importantly–students, to be part of conversations on implementing the framework and actively shifting a the ideal of a diverse Madison into a reality. The first of the faculty and staff sessions was held on October 6th and the next one will be on Wednesday October 15th.

Students interested in contributing to these conversations are invited to the October 14th session. It will be from 5:30-7pm in the MSC Lounge. There is absolutely no registration necessary.

Another way students can be involved is to join the Diversity Committee. This group of students meets weekly and encourages student orgs to join and contribute to their meetings which are held every Tuesday from 5-6pm in room 4001 at the Student Activity Center (SAC).
