Description: This position is the liaison between the Major Project Teams and the division, the Federal Highway Administration and other state agencies. This position is responsible for ensuring that all mega and major projects meet project development standards. This work involves independently facilitating, guiding and supporting various engineering and administrative activities involved in the many phases of improvement projects, from development of completed plans, specifications and estimates that comply with current environmental laws and regulations to the final completion of the various construction projects.  These actions requires a thorough knowledge of the engineering aspects, policies, procedures, and processes required for project development.  This position may communicate with other State and Federal agencies, public officials, and the general public in regard to the Major projects.
