The CRA is a contracted position that is the primary implementer of a campus-specific campaign aimed at inspiring talented and well-rounded students to apply to City Year. He/She will support City Year’s efforts to recruit talented and diverse college students and raise City Year’s general visibility on campus. The Campus Recruitment Ambassador is the in-the-field representative and the ‘voice’ of City Year on their campus. In this position, the CRA will utilize and enhance their professional skills in networking, marketing strategies, and communication while gaining an understanding of how a successful nonprofit organization operates. Madison Metropolitan School District is hiring a Program Assistant for their Parent University Program. This person will provide support to Parent Liaisons, community school-based Instructional Resource Teachers for Cultural Relevance,  and other Department of Diversity and Equity staff in the implementation of the Parent University Program and other duties as assigned, to include coordinating and performing tasks associated with scheduling meetings and professional development, facilitating communication between schools and the department office, ordering and distributing materials, communicating with school and central office staff, and organizing and monitoring tasks associated with Achievement Gap Initiatives, key department initiatives and events, and the District Equity Report.
